Swatantra 79, Speech and Poster Painting Competition Long Report - 2025

As part of the Swatantra 79 Independence celebrations and the Anti-Ragging Week observance, Khaja Bandanawaz University organized a Speech and Poster Painting Competition on 14th August 2025 at the Anatomy and Physiology Lecture Halls. The competition encouraged students and faculty to creatively highlight the values of freedom and a ragging-free campus.
The panel of judges included Prof. Srinivas Rao, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Management, Prof. Subhash Kamal, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Mrs. Qudsia Wajid, and Dr. Afshan. They evaluated the entries with great appreciation for the participants’ creativity, clarity, and impactful messaging.
The competition drew enthusiastic participation, with 80 attendees including 20 faculty members and 60 students. The poster painting segment showcased striking visuals on unity, patriotism, and inclusivity, while the speech competition featured confident and thought-provoking reflections on independence and respect.
In their concluding observations, the judges commended the participants for their efforts and emphasized the importance of combining patriotic fervor with social responsibility. The event not only celebrated freedom but also reinforced KBNU’s commitment to nurturing a campus that is academically enriching, socially safe, and rooted in dignity and inclusivity.
