1. Mere scoring the minimum qualifying marks as above will not entail the candidates to be declared eligible for admission.

2. Admissions shall be based strictly in order of merit.

3. The final merit list of selected candidates for the Ph.D. program shall be announced by the University and notified on the official website of the University on the scheduled date.

4. Selected candidates who fail to pay the required fee within the time-frame indicated will lose the right to be considered for admission. The students in the second / subsequent merit list will be given the opportunity.

5. The University reserves the right not to admit any candidates in any Ph.D. programme in a subject in case no qualified candidates are found.

6. The University reserves the right to alter the number of advertised vacancies.
