PHYSICS NERDNIA - 2023

On 4th December 2023, Department of Physics, Faculty of Sciences, Khaja Bandanawaz University, organised a Physics Exhibition entitled PHYSICS NERDNIA - 2023, the Organizing Secretaries of the event were Dr. Naziya Parveen and Dr. Shazia Farheen. A number of Students from both B.Sc and M.Sc Physics participated in the Exhibition. The Chief Guest for this Exhibition was Prof. Nishat Arif Hussaini, Dean, Faculty of Languages, Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences&Sciences, Khaja Bandanawaz University. The Special Invitees of the Event were Janab Syed Mohammad Ali Al Hussaini, Honourable Pro – Chancellor, Khaja Bandanawaz University and Prof. Ali Raza Moosvi, Honourable Vice Chancellor, Khaja Bandanawaz University. The Exhibition started at 10:00 a.m. and was open to all the Departments of the University. As the Exhibition started, various Students presented their Projects. Projects of Automatic Street Light, Soil Moisture Detection Sensor, Wireless Charging, Solar power energy, Wind Mill,Vacuum Cleaner using DC Motor, Portable Water Cooler, Holography, Wind Energy, Mini Tesla Coil, Models based on Newton’s Laws of Motion etc were built by the Students.

Prof. Nishat Arif Hussaini and the Co-ordinators and Faculty Members of all the other Departments, went around looking at the different Projects designed by the Students and assessed the descriptions given by the Students. Prof. Nishat Arif Hussaini, gave an insightof the importance of the contributions of the young generations to the field of Science and Technology. The Special Invitees were impressed by the efforts of the Students and they encouraged the Students to apply the concept at the large scale. At the end of the Exhibition, upon careful inspection of the different Models and Projects, Prof. Nishat Arif Hussaini, selected three best Projects. Everyone who participated in the exhibition were given Certificates and Mementoes for their excellent efforts. The exhibition ended with Dr. Naziya Parveen, Co-ordinator, Department of Physics, delivering a speech extending her gratitude to Prof. Nishat Arif Hussaini, and congratulating all the students who participated in the Exhibition. Dr. Naziya Parveen and Dr. Shazia Farheen presented a memento to Prof. Nishat Arif Hussaini at the end of the event.
