On November 20, 2024, a neonatal quiz competition was held. The event commenced with a welcome speech by Dr. Vijay Shegji, followed by addresses from senior dignitaries, including CEO Dr. PS Shankar sir, Dean Dr. Siddesh, and Dr. Mohammed Basheer. The program also featured insightful talks by Dr. Siddaling and Dr. Revanasiddappa on antimicrobial resistance in newborns and the judicious use of antimicrobials in NICU. A quiz competition was conducted, and prizes were distributed accordingly.
The final day, November 21, 2024, saw a painting competition among medical students, nursing students, nursing staff, and postgraduates. Dr. Charanraj H. and Dr. Kedarnath G T provided an introduction, followed by a talk by Dr. PS Shankar sir on the importance of newborn care and judicious antibiotic use.
