Khaja Bandanwaz University, Kalaburagi participated in C2C – Campus to Career Summit 2026 Organised by the Higher Education Department, Government of Karnataka on 15th and 16th May 2026 at The Lalit Ashok, Bengaluru.
Dr Namrata Raut, Media Coordinator and Mr. Ismail, Photographer cum Artist represented Khaja Bandanawaz University.
Inauguration was done by Chief Guest Shri Siddaramaiah, Honourable Chief Minister, Karnataka; Dr Sudhakar, Hon’ble Minister for Higher Education, Shree Priyank Mallikarjun Kharge, Minister for Department of Electronics, IT, Biotechnology and Science and Technology; Dr. Sharanaparakash Rudrappa Patil, Minister for Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood and Medical Education. Sri Chaluvarayanswamy Honoble Minister for Agriculture, Government of Karnataka, Smt Shalini Rajneesh, Chief Secretary, Government of Karnataka.
Day 1:
Multiple universities and companies took part in the Summit. Companies’ representatives visited KBNU stall and got information about the programms offered by the University. Panel Discussions took place on first day on the topics Government of Karnataka’s Vision for Outcome based Higher Education, From Silos to Synergy: Reimagining Higher Education for Industry-Ready Talent, From Education to Employment: Institutionalising Skilling in Formal Education. Developing The AI-Ready Workforce, Designing Skill-Based Assessment Frameworks for a Future-Ready Higher Education Ecosystem, Special Address by Asian Development Bank, AI Enabled Universities Transforming How Karnataka Learns Teaches and Leads, Fireside Chat: Future-Ready Karnataka: Embedding Skills into Higher Education Frameworks.
After the inauguration of Expo, the dignitaries visited all the stalls of Expo. Prof. Syed Ashfaq Ahmed Honourable Pro Vice Chancellor. Khaja Bandanawaz University, Kalaburagi presented KBNU Memento to Shri Siddaramaiahg, Honorable Chief Minister of Karnataka.
Day 2:
Panel Discussions took place on second day on the topic, The CoE Blueprint Accelerating Innovation from Campus to Corporate Innovation at Scale, Talent Pipeline for Building Karnataka's Semiconductor and Advanced Manufacturing, Strengthening India’s Financial Talent Pipeline, Special Session: Campus to Company: Celebrating Student-Led Startups & Innovation, Mastering the Human Element / Building General Professional Skills, High Level Ministerial Panel Discussion.
Prof Ashfaq Ahmed, Honorable Pro Vice Chancellor. Khaja Bandanawaz University, Kalaburagi presented KBNU Memento to Prof. S R Niranjan, Vice Chairman, Karnataka State Higher Education Council. Prof Syed Ashfaq Ahmed sir presented KBNU Memento to Prof A M Khan, Honorable Vice Chancellor, Karnataka University Dharwad. Dr Namrata Raut, Media Coordinator, KBNU presented Media coordinator to Dr Sudhakar, Hon’ble Minister for Higher Education; Dr. Sharanaparakash Rudrappa Patil, Minister for Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood and Medical Education. Smt Khushboo Goe Chowdhary, Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department, Govt of Karnataka; Dr. Bhagyavana S. Mudigoudra. the Project Director of UUCMS (Unified University and College Management System) for the Government of Karnataka.
