Khaja Bandanawaz University participated in the Health and Education Expo 2026

Khaja Bandanawaz University participated in Health and Education Expo 2026 organised by Samyukta Karnataka on 7th and 8th April 2026 at Kamitakar Bhavan, Kalaburagi. A stall was set up by Khaja Bandanawaz University, Kalaburagi was the regional Sponsor and exhibited a stall on both the days. Two monitors of 50 inch were set by KBNU to display the promotional video of KBNU. Basic health screening at the Expo was arranged by  KBN Teaching and General Hospital. BP, Sugar, ECG, Dental and Opthal free check up was done on both days.

From Khaja Bandanawaz University Dr Namrata Raut, Media Coordinator; Dr Azmath, Asst professor dept of Sociology and Dr Riyaz Pathan, Asst professor faculty of Education represented the KBNU. Mr Imsail was the photographer.

From KBN Teaching and General Hospital Abdul Dr. Ningangouda Patil, Dr Heena, Dr Reena, Dr Nikhil, from Dept of Ophthalmology, Dr Asma Durrani, Dr Ayesha from Department of Dental, Dr Danesh, and Dr Maheen from General Medicine Department,

Staff Nurse- Mrs Prameela P, Wilson, Haji; Ward boys- Abdul Toufeek, Abdul Nadeem, Abdul Saddam, Raju, Prameela staff Nurses and Attender- Shabana carried the Health Screening at the expo.

DAY 1

Matoshree Dr Dakshayini S Appa, Chancellor Sharan Basav University and Sharan Basaveshwar Vidyavardhak Sangh, Kalaburagi, Shree Asagodu Jayasimha, Karnataka State Brahmin Development Council, Bangalore, Mrs Fouziya Tarannum, District Commissioner G, Kalaburagi, Dr S D Sharanappa, City Police Commissioner, Kalaburagi, Dr Sharanabasappa G Kamareddy, Popular Doctor and Congress Leader, Shree Krishnaji Kulkarni, Renowned Businessman and Senior Politician, Kalaburagi were present at the inauguration of the programme. Shree Ashok Haranahalli, Chairman, Lok Shikshan Trust and Renowned Lawyer presided over the inauguration programme.

Shree U G Venkatesh, Former Member Legislative Council and Former Chairman  Lok Shikshan Trust: Dr Bhimashankar Bilagundi, Chairman Hyderabad Karnatak Education Society Kalaburagi, Shree Keshav Desai Industrialist and Secretary Lok Shikshan Trust, Shree Allam Prabhu Patil, MLA South Kalaburagi inaugurated the stalls at Expo.

Career guidance talks were delievered by eminent personalities Dr Gururaj Karjagi, Dr Shekhar Patil and Dr Shivkumar Kupnoor.

Prof Ashfaq Ahmed, Pro Vice Chancellor KBNU visited the stall, Health Screenings arranged by KBNU at the Expo. Sir presented KBNU memento to Mrs Fouziya Tarannum, DC Kakaburagi during mam's visit to the stall. Dr Siddaling Chengty, Medical Superintendent, KBNTGH; Dr Radika Prasad, Administrator KBNTGH visited the KBNU stall and Health screenings stalls.

Thousands of students and parents visited the stall and enquired about the courses and fees.

On first day, 52 Opthal, 68 ECG, 50 Dental, 71 Sugar and BP tests were done.

Day 2

On the second day also career guidance programmes were conducted at the event.  50 Opthal, 71 ECG, 50 Dental, 72 Sugar and BP tests were done. Mr Mohan Hegade, CEO, Samyukta Karnatak, Mr Sheshgiri, Assistant Burue, Mr Girish Kulkarni presented the Samyukta Karnataka Memento to KBNU representatives at the stall.

KBNU Memento was presented to Mr Mohan Hegade, Dr Someshwara famous educationalist.
