International Nurses Day Celebrated at KBN Teaching and General Hospital - 2026

International Nurses Day is celebrated at KBN Teaching and General Hospital on 12^th May 2026 Tuesday. The Chief Guest, Prof Ashfaq Ahmad, Pro Vice Chancellor of KBNU. Prof opined that, the selfless service of nurses along with the treatment of doctors helps the patients to recover quickly. Further he said, Florence Nightingale's birthday is celebrated as International Nurses Day. He called the nurses as the “backbone of the hospital”. He congratulated them for their tolerance and patience. He expressed appreciation that the service rendered by them is commendable. On this occasion, he preached the oath to all the nurses of KBN Hospital. Then the cake was cut and the occasion was celebrated. Medical Dean Dr Guruprasada, Medical Superintendent Dr Siddalinga Chengati, Administrative Officer Dr Radhika Prasad were present.

All the nurses of the hospital attended the celebration.
