Industrial Visit to Centre of Excellence, Government Tool Room & Training Centre (GT&TC), Kalaburagi

The industrial visit was organized on 19^th August 2025 to provide practical exposure to 3rd semester mechanical engineering students to modern manufacturing technologies. During the visit, students were introduced to various advanced facilities and technologies available at Centre of Excellence, Government Tool Room & Training Centre GT&TC. The officials demonstrated: - Conventional machines such as lathe and milling machines. - CNC machines for precision manufacturing. - Robotics applications including robotic welding and pick-and-place systems. 3-D printing technology using ABS material. Mechatronics laboratory, where students observed automation and control systems with Siemens setup. This exposure provided students with practical insights into modern manufacturing technologies, bridging the gap between classroom learning and industrial practices. The visit was coordinated and accompanied by Dr. Vishaldatt Kohir and Dr. Shaik Abdul Maajid, who guided the students and facilitated interaction with GT&TC experts.
