Human Rights Day

The Human Rights Day Celebration on December 11, 2023, held at the Faculty of Law, Khaja Banda Nawaz University, Kalaburagi, was a commendable event organized by the Faculty of Law. The program aimed to highlight the significance of human rights on a global scale.


The event commenced with the felicitation of the esteemed Chief Guest, Ismail Lateef Khan, by Miss Lubna Tanveer, Head/Coordinator at the Faculty of Law, Khaja Banda Nawaz University, Kalaburagi.


Miss Lubna Tanveer, the Head/Coordinator at the Faculty of Law, Khaja Banda Nawaz University, Gulbarga, commenced the event with an illuminating introductory speech that set the tone for the Human Rights Day celebration.


In her address, Miss Tanveer eloquently conveyed the essence and significance of human rights, contextualizing their relevance in today's complex global landscape. She highlighted the historical evolution of human rights, tracing their origins to universal declarations and conventions that underscored the inalienable rights of every individual. She underscored that human rights are not merely legal principles but embody the moral and ethical fabric of society. She emphasized the fundamental nature of these rights, considering them as the bedrock upon which the dignity, equality, and freedom of every human being stand.
