Guest Lecture on Squash Cytology Application and CNS Case Based Slide Discussion

Guest Lecture on “Squash cytology application and CNS case based slide discussion” was organized by Dept of Pathology, Faculty of Medical Sciences KBN University in Anatomy Lecture Hall on 05/04/2025 at 10 am to11 am.

The event was hosted by Dr Pratima Sambrani (Professor) and Dr Mahek (post graduate student) from Dept of Pathology, KBNU - FOMS.

Program started at 10:00 am with Qirat by Talha, MBBS Phase II student. This was followed by Welcome Speech for dignitaries and invitees by Dr. Mandakini B. T, Professor and head, Dept of Pathology, KBNU - FOMS.

Dr. Mahek, introduced the speaker for the event, Dr. Anita A.M.

This was followed by lecture by the eminent speaker Dr. Anita. It was an interactive discussion on CNS tumors. Mam also shared her valuable life experiences with the audience and discussed the importance of Squash cytology in the diagnosis of CNS tumors.

Dr. Anita showed slides and various CNS tumors were discussed.

Participants gained a clear understanding of procedure of squash cytology and also learnt the approach to CNS tumors through squash cytology.

This was followed by the felicitation of the guest speaker by Dr. Zeenath Begum & Dr. Mandakini B.Tengli.
