Felicitation Function for Gulbarga Mystics who won the first Maharaja Trophy- A first time event for the city of Gulbarga.
Bengaluru, Aug 26: Gulbarga Mystics ‘blasted their way’ to glory defeating Bengaluru Blasters by 11 runs at the end of a nail-biting final to lift the glittering Shriram KSCA Maharaja Trophy in the T-20 Tournament, a tribute to the late Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar of the Mysore royal family and a former President of the KSCA, at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Friday.
A felicitation ceremony for the Gulbarga Mystics Team was organized at Kalaburagi at the Sayyid Akbar Husayni Turf Ground on 06.09.2022 under the patronage chairmanship of His Excellency Janab Dr. Syed Shah Khusro Hussaini Sahab, Sajjada Nasheen Dargah Hazrat Khaja Bandanawaz & The Chancellor, Khaja Bandanawaz University and The President Khaja Education Society. Janab Syed Muhammad Ali Al Hussaini, Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor & also the owner of the Gulbarga Mystics Team was present on the occasion.
It was a very proud moment for the city of Gulbarga city which celebrated the victory of the Gulbarga Mystics team with great enthusiasm and love.
The team first visited the Dargah Hazrat Khaja Bandanawaz (Rh) and then the Shrana Basaveshwara Temple.
During the felicitation function, His Excellency Janaab Dr. Syed Shah Khusro Hussaini Sahab addressed the gathering and shared his views on the winning of the team. Janab Syed Muhammad Ali Al Hussaini also shared his experience with the Maharaja Trophy Tournament and the vision behind sponsoring the Gulbarga Mystics Team. The Captain of the team Mr. Manish Pandey addressed the gathering and thanked the people for their love and support. He extended his gratitude to the Hon’ble Chancellor and Pro-Chancellor for the support they gave and the vision that they carry to promote the sports by organizing the KBN Premiere League which encourages young talents. Janab Dr. Syed Mustafa Al Hussaini Sahab, Director Campus , Khaja Bandanawaz University was present on this occasion and played a key role in organizing the event.
The Khaja Education Society has a House of Sports which organizes various sports events and the KBN also a gold cup for Cricket, Hockey, and Football.
On this occasion, The Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ali Raza Moosvi, Khaja Bandanawaz University, Prof.A.M.Pathan, Secretary General, Khaja Education Society, Registrar, KBNU Dr. Ruksar Fatima, Deans of Various Faculties, under Khaja Bandanawaz University, Administrative Staff, Principals of Schools and Colleges of Khaja Education Society, Staff and Students were also present.
