The Two-Day International Conference on Artificial Intelligence, Discrete Mathematics & Fluid Mechanics (ICAIDFM‑2026) was successfully organized by Khaja Bandanawaz University (KBNU), Kalaburagi, on 26th and 27th March 2026. The conference served as a dynamic platform for academicians, researchers, industry professionals, and students to engage in interdisciplinary dialogue across the rapidly evolving domains of AI, Mathematical Sciences, and Computational Modelling.
The conference witnessed more than 285 registrations, reflecting its wide academic reach and relevance. A total of 38 research abstracts were received, and 10 poster presentations were showcased, highlighting the active participation of scholars from various institutions.
The event featured Seven invited lectures, Multiple Oral and Poster sessions, and two panel discussions, creating a rich environment for intellectual exchange and collaborative exploration.
Day 1: Thursday, 26 March 2026
The conference commenced with the registration of over 285 participants, including faculty members, research scholars, and students from across India. Delegates received conference kits and interacted informally, setting a vibrant tone for the event.
Keynote Address Speaker was Prof. A. K. Aggarwal, Panjab University, Chandigarh, Prof. Aggarwal delivered an inspiring keynote titled “Mathematics is Everywhere”, emphasizing the omnipresence of mathematics across pure sciences, life sciences, Social Sciences, and engineering. He highlighted the paradox that although mathematics shapes every aspect of modern life, it remains misunderstood by many. His abstract notes: “In this talk we explode this myth and revisit this Queen of all sciences.”
The formal inauguration ceremony was graced by distinguished dignitaries, including the Prof. Syed Ashfaq Ahmed, Pro‑Vice Chancellor, KBNU, Mir Vilayat Ali, Registrar,KBNU,
Dr.Zama Moosvi, Dean Academics, KBNU, Dr.Anup Desai, Dean, Student Welfare, KBNU, Dr.M.A.Baseer, IQAC Director, and Dr.Sana Aejaz, Co‑Convener of the conference & Head(i/c),Dept. of Mathematics, KBNU.
A major highlight of the ceremony was the Release of the Conference Souvenir, which captured the vision of ICAIDFM‑2026, institutional messages, invited talk abstracts, and scholarly contributions. The souvenir symbolized the academic spirit and collaborative efforts behind the event.
