“Crescendo” 38th aiu Inter University South East Zone Youth Festival - 2024

DAY – 1 (19-12-2024)

March-Past Display - The students and faculty of KBN University participated in a disciplined and energetic march-past. The procession was adorned with banners and flags representing the university, symbolizing its values, vision, and commitment to academic excellence. The march-past showcased the unity and spirit of the institution


Speech on the University- A brief yet impactful speech was delivered to highlight the achievements, values, and unique aspects of Khaja Banda Nawaz University. The speech included: 

- A brief history of the university. 

- An overview of its academic programs. 

- The university's commitment to fostering academic and cultural excellence. 

- Achievements in academics, research, and extracurricular activities


Opening ceremony - The march-past received appreciation for its discipline and coordination. 

- The speech provided a comprehensive insight into the university’s contributions to education and society, resonating with the audience. 

- The participants represented the university's ethos and brought pride to its name.



DAY – 2 (20-12-2024)

The second day of the Cultural Fest at Christ University was an exciting and diverse showcase of talent, creativity, and intellect. Participants from various universities competed and performed across a variety of events, making the day vibrant and memorable.


Western Vocal by Abubakar Siddiqui -

The day began with a soulful western vocal performance by Abubakar Siddiqui, who captivated the audience with his powerful voice and dynamic stage presence. His performance set a high tone for the day.


Debate by Areeb Ansari and Umme Hani

The debate session witnessed a spirited discussion on the topic:"This house believes our population is an asset for growth."Areeb Ansari and Umme Hani represented their perspectives with conviction and well-structured arguments, engaging the audience and judges alike.


On-Spot Painting - Mahesh Rabashetty demonstrated exceptional creativity in the on-spot painting competition. The theme, "Landscaping," allowed him to bring a serene and imaginative scene to life on canvas, impressing viewers with his artistic skills


Quiz by Owaiz Abdullah and Yousuf- The quiz competition was a test of knowledge and quick thinking, with Owaiz Abdullah and Yousuf showcasing their intellectual prowess as they represented their university with confidence and enthusiasm.


Light Vocal by - Ubaidullah’s light vocal performance added a melodic touch to the afternoon. His soothing voice and heartfelt renditions kept the audience engaged and mesmerized

Cartooning by-   Saquib displayed his talent in cartooning, creating witty and visually appealing artwork. His creations reflected humor and creativity, earning appreciation from the judges and spectators



DAY – 3 (21-12-2024)

Elocution Competition by Faiza Rahmath: Faiza delivered a captivating speech on “Role of Youth in National Development” demonstrating exceptional command over language, confidence, and clarity of thought. Her articulation and persuasive delivery impressed both the audience and judges. And she won the 2nd prize and now she will represent National level


Quiz Competition by Owaiz, Yousuf, Abdulla Najeeb -Photo not allowed-The trio represented Khaja Bandanawaz University in a highly competitive quiz session. Their teamwork, quick thinking, and deep knowledge of diverse topics allowed them to navigate through challenging rounds, making their participation noteworthy.


Art Installation by Arfeen, Omkaar, Abdullah Najeeb, Abubakar Imran - Photo not allowed -The team presented an innovative art installation that reflected the fest’s theme. Using sustainable materials and creative design, the installation was both visually striking and conceptually profound, garnering praise from attendees and organizers.

DAY – 4 (22-12-2024)

Spot Photography by  Mohammed Nauman- Mohammed Nauman demonstrated exceptional skill in capturing compelling moments around the fest. His photographs reflected keen observation, artistic composition, and technical expertise.


Skit Performance by Umme Kulsum, Syed Faisal Moin, Nausheen, Salman, Uzair, Areeb - Description: The group performed a powerful skit centered blending humor and social commentary. Their dynamic stage presence and cohesive teamwork made the performance impactful and memorable.


Mehendi Art by Nooreen Khaleq - Nooreen displayed intricate and elegant mehendi designs, impressing judges with her precision and creativity. Her work reflected both cultural heritage and contemporary artistry.


Classical Vocal Solo by Monisha - Monisha delivered a soulful classical vocal performance, showcasing her mastery of ragas and technical prowess. Her melodious rendition left the audience in awe and earned her well-deserved applause.


Rangoli Art by Participant: Vaibhavi - Vaibhavi’s rangoli design was a vibrant and intricate composition, skillfully blending colors and patterns. Her artwork embodied cultural richness and artistic finesse.


Mime Performance by Abraar Munshi, Syed Mohammed Mujahid, Syed Irfaanunddin, S K Shahrukh, Mohammed Shujauddin, Mohammed Soheb Affan, Mohammed Naqeeb B, Mohammed Talha - The mime troupe delivered a riveting performance that communicated powerful messages without words. Their synchronized movements, expressive gestures, and emotional depth resonated deeply with the audience.


Folk / Tribal Dance Vishrutha, Varshini, Raghavi, Bhoomika, Sumitra, Anuja M, Omkaar, Aditya Patil, Akshay, Premkumar - The day concluded with a vibrant group folk  dance performance. The ensemble showcased a fusion of classical and contemporary dance forms, executed with energy, precision, and enthusiasm. The colorful costumes and rhythmic choreography elevated the fest’s closing moments



DAY – 5 (22-12-2024)

Valedictory function - The valedictory function of the event at Christ University was a memorable occasion, marked by inspiring speeches, the recognition of accomplishments, and a spirit of collaboration. The event brought together esteemed dignitaries, faculty members, and students to conclude the program on a high note.


Key note address  by Dr. (Fr.) Soni Chundattu (Director Christ University)-The Director of Christ University, Dr. Father Soli, delivered the keynote address, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in academic and research endeavors. He highlighted the achievements of the event, praised the participants for their dedication, and inspired everyone to continue striving for excellence. His words set the tone for the function, leaving the audience motivated and appreciative of the efforts put into the program


Speech by Santosh Kumar P  (AIU observer) - Mr. Santosh Kumar P. the AIU Observer, shared his insights on the role of universities in fostering innovation and global cooperation. He commended Christ University for its exemplary organization and meaningful contributions to academic growth. His address underlined the significance of aligning education with real-world challenges.


Key notes by Dr Raghunandan kumar (Dean,  Christ University) - Delivered a thoughtful keynote address, focusing on the institution’s commitment to holistic education and the role of students in shaping the future. He acknowledged the faculty and organizing team for their efforts and encouraged the students to use the lessons learned during the event to make a positive impact.


Address by Shushant (Organizing Secretary, Christ University) - The Organizing Secretary, Mr. Sushant, expressed his gratitude to all stakeholders who contributed to the success of the event. He shared insights into the meticulous planning and teamwork that went into organizing the program. His address reflected the passion and dedication of the organizing committee.


Prize distribution -The highlight of the function was the prize distribution, where participants were recognized for their exceptional performances and contributions. The dignitaries presented awards and certificates, fostering a sense of accomplishment and encouragement among the recipients.


Vote of thanks by Mr. Mani ( Joint Secretary, Christ University) - The Joint Secretary of Christ University, Mr. Mani, delivered the vote of thanks, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the dignitaries, participants, and organizing team for making the event a grand success. He acknowledged the contributions of each individual and emphasized the importance of collective efforts in achieving excellence.


Memento Presentation

As a token of appreciation and collaboration, faculties from KBN University presented mementos to the key dignitaries, including Dr. Father Soli, Director of Christ University; Dr. Raghunandan Kumar, Dean; and Mr. Sushant, the Organizing Secretary. This gesture symbolized the mutual respect and shared vision of both institutions.
