On 26 November 2024, the Faculty of Languages, Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, and Law, KBN University organized Constitution Day. The Constitution Day begins with the arrival of Prof. Nishat Arif Hussaini, Dean, Faculty of Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Sciences, Languages, Education, Law, and Commerce. The programme was anchored by Reshma Begum, MA-III-Semester, English Dept. Rahimunisa MA-I-Sem English Dept. welcome the event with her welcome speech. Shaikh Shaista, LLB-Ist Semester led the reading of the Preamble as a mark of the importance of Constitution Day in spreading constitutional awareness.
Dr Sanganagouda, Assistant Professor of Kannada shares the important contribution of women to the Indian constitution and setting a precedent for women's representation in India. Dr Azamat Dadasab Bawakhan, Assistant Professor of Sociology, shared an anecdote on the awareness of Constitution, how our life and well-being should be in practice as the constitution has the provision.
The Constitutional Day 2024 was an eventful one with the presence of Prof. Nishat Arif Hussaini, Dean, Faculty of Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Sciences, Languages, Education, Law, and Commerce. On this occasion, Prof Nishat enlightened the august gathering and emphasized the importance of a constitution that enriches and ensures the protection of democratic institutions. The session was successfully concluded with votes of thanks from Sumaira Samreen, MA-I-Semester Urdu Dept. and followed by light refreshments.
In the evening session, poster presentations and essay writing competitions were organized for the students of different faculties. In the essay competition, fifteen students participated, and eight students participated in post-presentation. Students showcase their artistic talent, creativity, and awareness of the Constitution.
