Breast Disease Update 2024

Breast Disease Update 2024 - Organized by Department of General Surgery, KBNU on 19th January 2024 .



Programme started at 9.30 AM with introduction and welcome speech the sessions were starter talk was on benign breast disease by Dr. Sachin Jamma Professor and HOD Ashwini Medical College Solapur followed by talk on ca breast and clinical presentation by Dr Arun Barad Consulting Onco- Surgeon ESIC the next talk was by Dr Roopa Tandoor Professor and HOD Department of Radiodiagnosis KBNU-FOMS on the topic Brest imaging, this talk followed by the topic Breast Tissue Diagnosis by Dr Zeenath Begum Professor Department of Pathology KBNU- FOMS.


The programme was inaugurated by Professor Ali Raza Moosvi, Dr P S Shankar, Dr. Siddesh B Sirwar, Dr. Siddaling Chengty, Dr. Md Moinuddin, Dr. Nandkishor Shindeby watering the plant at 11:10 AM. Followed by a Tea Break, the CME was resumed and the talk by Dr. Sharanbasappa Hatti Onco Surgeon HCG Hospital Kalaburagi on the Topic Breast Cancer Management, Dr. Shantling Nigudgi Clinical Oncologist Medical Director HCG Kalaburagi, on topic Chemotheraphy and Radiotherapy in Ca Breast, Dr. Gururaj Deshpande Onco Surgeon Kidwai Hospital Kalaburagi on topic MRM for General Surgeons, Dr. Amresh Biradar Plastic Surgeon Kalaburagi, followed by Lunch at 1:20 PM.


The next talk was given by Dr. Md Moinuddin Professor and HOD Department of General Surgery KBNU-FOMS on the topic Rare Breast Diseases, following this was a Panel Discussion on Benign Breast disease and Malignant Breast Disease  Moderated by Dr. M A Baseer Associate Professor Department of General surgery KBNU-FOMS and Dr. Sharanbasappa Hatti onco surgeon HCG Hospital Kalaburagi, followed by Case presentation by PG’s moderated by Dr. Nandkishorshinde Professor Department of general surgery and Dr. M A Baseer Associate Professor Department of General surgery KBNU-FOMS.


The CME was concluded by the Valedictory Speech by the organizer of the CME Dr Nandkishorshinde Professor Department of General surgery KBNU-FOMS.


This CME helped in exchange of knowledge and view of experts. It helped in increasing knowledge, skillsand professional performance of Surgeons, PGs,UGs & Delegates, which helps in providing better health care services to patients.


This CME was an integration of experts talks, Panel discussion and Case presentation by PGs which was a perfect academic feast.Thus, this CME was concluded successfully.
