Blood Donation Camp 2026

A Blood Donation Camp was successfully organized by the Unit of KBN University at the KBN Blood Centre, KBN Teaching and General Hospital, on 11 June 2026. The camp commenced at 10:00 AM and continued until 3:30 PM.

The programme was conducted under the chairmanship of Mr. Mir Vilayat Ali, Registrar, KBN University, along with Dr. Gazala Shaireen, Nodal Officer, Youth Red Cross Unit, and Dr. Geetanjali, Medical Officer.

The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, with 20 students voluntarily donating blood. The event aimed to promote the spirit of humanitarian service and create awareness regarding the importance of voluntary blood donation in saving lives.

The programme was graced by the presence of Dr. Sanaullah Sir Coordinator Blood Donation Camp, Indian Red Cross Society Kalaburagi and Mrs. Bhagyalaxmi, Vice Chairman Red Cross Society, Kalaburagi appreciated the efforts of the students and encouraged them to continue participating in such noble activities.

The Blood Donation Camp was conducted smoothly with the support of the KBN Blood Centre staff. The organizers expressed their gratitude to Dr Siddaling Chengty MS for their arrangements. And thanked all the donors, guests, and volunteers for making the event a grand success.
