B.Com Graduation Thanksgiving & M.Com Freshers' Welcome 2026

The Thanksgiving Party for the B.Com Final Year (NEP Batch 2023–2026) along with the Welcome Ceremony for the M.Com Winter Batch 2026 was organized on 18th April 2026 at 11:00Am to 3:00 Pm by the Faculty of Commerce and Management, Khaja Bandanawaz University. The program began with a warm welcome address by Ms. Sujatha Sone, Assistant Professor, who served as the Master of Ceremony. She extended her heartfelt greetings to the Chief Guest, Dr. Nishant Arif Hussaini, Dean of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Dr. K.S. Srinivasa Rao, Dean of FCM, Mrs. Amtul Habeeb, Program Coordinator, respected faculty members, staff, outgoing students, freshers, and all attendees, making the opening of the event graceful and inclusive.


The program commenced on a spiritual and serene note with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Ms. Sameena from B.Com VI Semester. Her soulful recitation created a peaceful atmosphere and invoked blessings for the success of the program, setting a respectful tone for the entire event. Mrs. Amtul Habeeb, Program Coordinator, addressed the gathering by appreciating the dedication and achievements of the outgoing B.Com final year students while also extending a warm and encouraging welcome to the newly joined M.Com students. Her speech emphasized the importance of growth, discipline, and embracing new opportunities.

 

The Chief Guest of the program, Dr. Nishant Arif Hussaini, Dean of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Khaja Bandanawaz University, is a distinguished academician with rich experience in teaching and academic administration. She has significantly contributed to the promotion of quality education and institutional development, with her areas of interest including higher education, research, and student development. She has actively participated in various seminars, conferences, and academic initiatives, and her leadership continues to inspire both students and faculty members.

 

In her address, she shared valuable insights on the importance of higher education, dedication, and continuous learning, motivating students to strive for excellence and achieve their goals.

 

The faculty members, including Mr. Abdul Razak, Dr. Adil Sindagikar, Dr. K. Neeraja, and Mrs. Iffat Nigar, delivered motivational speeches emphasizing discipline, career planning, and the importance of education. The session concluded with an inspiring address by Dr. K.S. Srinivasa Rao, Dean of FCM, who encouraged students to stay focused and committed to their goals.

 

The program included an opinion-sharing session by M.Com first semester students, where Aisha Anjum and Ishrat Sadaf expressed their feelings, expectations, and excitement about beginning their new academic journey. Their reflections reflected confidence and enthusiasm as freshers.

 

The outgoing B.Com final year students, including Iram Fatima, Zunaira Fathima, and Ahsan Shaikh, shared their valuable experiences and cherished memories from their college life. They spoke about their academic journey, the challenges they overcame, and the support they received from faculty members and peers. Their reflections highlighted personal growth, learning experiences, and memorable moments, creating an emotional and nostalgic atmosphere during the program.

 

Poetry Session: To add a creative and emotional touch to the event, a poetry session was conducted by Madiha Firdouse, who presented heartfelt poems dedicated to the outgoing students. Their performances beautifully captured the emotions of farewell, gratitude, and memories.

 

Announcement of Star of the Month: The program also included the announcement of the “Star of the Month” awards recognizing students’ outstanding performance in attendance and academics from January to April 2026. Students such as Syed Rayan, Madiha Firdous, Bhazela Firdous, Ahsan Shaikh, Zikra Fatima, and Shaik Fareed were appreciated for their consistency and excellence, which served as motivation for others.

 

The program concluded with a formal vote of thanks, expressing sincere gratitude to the Chief Guest, dignitaries, faculty members, organizing team, supporting staff, and all students for their valuable presence and contribution. The event ended on a positive note, leaving behind memorable experiences for both the outgoing students and the freshers.
