The Anti-Ragging Day was celebrated on 12th August 2024, with the event being graced by the presence of esteemed chief guests, including Dr. S.B. Siddesh, Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences at K.B.N.U, Dr. Nazeer Ahmed, Dean of Student Welfare at K.B.N.U, and Dr. Siddalingchengty, Medical Superintendent of K.B.N.T.G.H. The guest speaker for the occasion was Dr. Munnawar Hussain, Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, KBNU FOMS.
The proceedings began with Dr. Jibran introducing and inviting the chief guests and speaker to the dais, followed by a brief speech by Dr. Siddesh, who felicitated Dr. Munnawar. Dr. Munnawar then delivered a thought-provoking talk on "Ragging and its Consequences", highlighting the importance of addressing this critical issue. Dr. Jibran reminded the attendees of the rules and regulations to be followed during the event.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Ghazala Shireen, who expressed gratitude to the guests and participants for their presence and contributions.
