An Orientation Program on “MoU Between KBNU & Infosys

An Orientation Program on “MoU Between KBNU & Infosys” was organized on 17/02/2026 by the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, FoET, Khaja Bandanawaz University, Kalaburagi, with the objective of briefing the Deans of various faculties and Heads of different Departments about the academic–industry collaboration and its strategic implementation.


The programme was commenced with Qirat e kalam e paak and it is chaired by Dr. Subhash Kamal, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FoET), KBNU, Kalaburagi. As the Chairperson of the session, he delivered the welcome address, highlighting the significance of industry academia collaboration and the importance of effectively implementing the initiatives under the MoU for institutional growth and academic excellence.


The Dean, FoET, KBNU, warmly felicitated the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor and Hon’ble Pro Vice Chancellor by presenting beautiful plant pots as a token of respect and gratitude. The gesture reflected appreciation for their esteemed presence, guidance, and continued support towards the growth and excellence of the institution.


Prof. Syed Ashfaq Ahmed, Hon. Pro Vice-Chancellor, KBNU, highlighted the benefits of the MoU in his insightful address. He encouraged other faculties to pursue similar collaborations and appreciated the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FoET) for taking the initiative and successfully implementing the program.


The orientation session was conducted and coordinated by Dr. Raafiya Gulmeher, SPOC Infosys & MoU Coordinator KBNU, who elaborated on the objectives of the MoU, institutional responsibilities, structured training programs, certification pathways, registration procedures, monitoring mechanisms and opportunities for industrial exposure including visits to the Infosys campus. The session emphasized the role of Deans and HoDs in facilitating smooth enrollment, guiding faculty and students, and ensuring effective execution of the initiatives under the partnership.


The audience listened to the session attentively with great interest, showing keen enthusiasm and focus throughout the program. Their active engagement and thoughtful attention reflected the significance and impact of the session.


Prof. Ali Raza Moosvi, Hon. Vice-Chancellor, KBNU, emphasized the importance of industry–academia collaboration through MoUs. He encouraged other faculties to actively promote student enrollment in such programs and appreciated the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FoET) for leading this initiative.


This event was made possible through the visionary leadership, constant support, and dedicated efforts of Dr. Zama Moosvi, Dean Academic, KBNU. Her guidance, commitment to academic excellence, and proactive initiatives played a pivotal role in bringing this collaboration to reality.


This event was successfully facilitated through the constant support, administrative leadership, and encouragement of Mr Mir Vilayat Ali, Registrar, KBNU. His coordination, guidance, and commitment to institutional development played a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of this important collaboration.


The gathering included Deans of various faculties and Heads of Departments, who actively engaged in discussions regarding implementation strategies and academic integration of the programs offered through the collaboration.


The program concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Asma Parveen, HoD, Department of CSE, FoET, KBNU. The event was smoothly compered by Dr. Nikhat Fatima.


The Orientation Program on the MoU between KBNU & Infosys concluded successfully on a delightful note with high refreshments, leaving participants motivated and inspired. The seamless execution of the entire event was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the


Prof. Mujahid Irfan, Prof. Md Naveeduddin, Dr. Tayyaba Tabassum, Dr. Lubna Kauser, Dr. Vinay Warad, and Dr. Nikhat Fatima were in organizing committee. Their teamwork and dedication made the even run successfully and smoothly.
