79th Independence Day Celebration at KBNU

KBN University marked the nation’s Independence Day with a vibrant celebration, attended by over 200 faculty members and 500 students.


The event commenced with the hoisting of the national flag by Dr. Syed Mustafa Al Hussaini, Director (Campus). Sayyid Akbar Husayni School choir then filled the air with patriotic fervor through a heartfelt rendition of the national anthem, followed by a spirited march-past by the students of Sayyid Akbar Husayni School, symbolizing discipline and national pride.


The Registrar Mir Vilayat Ali extended a warm welcome to the gathering, setting the tone for the day’s proceedings. The Vice-Chancellor and Pro Vice-Chancellor addressed the audience, sharing their vision for KBNU’s growth and its role in shaping the nation’s future. Dr. Syed Mustafa Al Hussaini delivered an inspiring speech that energized the crowd.


Students Afroz Munavalli (Faculty of Medical Sciences), Ayesha Anjum(Faculty of Arts, Social Sciences, Humanities & Languages), and Akshata Hebbar(Faculty of Education) eloquently expressed their thoughts on an independent and progressive India.


The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr Guruprasad K Y, Dean (FoMS), and a two-minute silence to honour the memory of Dr Sharanappa Appaji. The day reflected KBNU’s deep commitment to unity, respect, and national pride.
