3 days Induction programme for B.Ed Academic Year 2025-26

                                               DAY 1- Induction Programme

The induction programme kicked off on January 19th, 2026, at the Multipurpose Hall, Faculty of Education. The event was inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. Vilayat Ali, Registrar of KBNU, and hosted by  Faculties Mrs. Razia Parveen and Fatima Begum.


The programme began with a recitation of Surah Alaq by Ms. Fareeda Athar and its translation in Urdu by Dr Kudrathunissa Sheikh,followed by an introduction of the chief guest by Mr.Riyaz Pathan and Dr. SalIha Khatoon shared insights about the university in her 'Know your University. Dean Professor Mohammed Iqbal Mattoo encouraged students to justify their decision to become teachers, noting that they're trained to be nation-architects and real facilitators of knowledge.


The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Kudrathunissa Sheikh, thanking the chief guest for his inspiring words, and ended with the national anthem. Students went on a campus tour in the afternoon.


A campus visit is an educational experience for students. Recently, we visited a university campus with our students. The campus was very big, clean, and well-organized. Students saw classrooms, the Central library, KBN Auditorium, Administrative Block and playground. The teachers explained different courses and facilities available on the campus. Students learned about discipline, higher education, and student life. The visit motivated to study well and achieve student goals. It was an enjoyable and informative experience.



DAY 2- Induction Programme

The program began with a Yoga session where students practiced different yoga exercises to promote physical and mental well-being.


After that, a Memory Test was conducted from this activity aimed to improve students’ concentration and memory skills.


In the afternoon, creative competitions such as Rangoli and Mehndi were organized where Students enthusiastically participated and displayed their artistic talents.


Later, a Pick and Speak activity was held in this activity, students picked random topics and spoke about them, which helped in improving their confidence and communication skills.


Another creative event, Drawing and Painting, was conducted where students expressed their ideas and creativity through art.




                                                DAY 3- Induction Programme

The last day of the induction programme was a blast! It kicked off with a drawing competition, where students showed off their artistic skills under the guidance of Mr. Riyaz Pathan and Dr. Saleha Khatoon.The drawing competition was a creative outlet for students. It was a great way to showcase artistic skills and imagination. Students had fun bringing their ideas to life.


The singing competition was a highlight of the induction programme. It was led by Ms. Fareeda Athar ,Mrs Razia Parveen and Mrs. Fatima Begum, and students got to showcase their vocal talents. It was a fun way to encourage students to come out of their shells and show off their singing skills.


Then, students got culinary with the cooking competition, supervised by Mrs. Razia Parveen and Mrs. Fareeda Athar . The cooking competition was a real treat. Students got to whip up some delicious dishes, and the students had a blast by showcasing their culinary skills. The students took part wholeheartedly in it.


After lunch, Mrs. Fatima,Mrs.Fareeda, Mrs.Razia,Mrs. Kudrathunissa and other faculty members broke the ice with some fun activities. Ice breakers are activities designed to help people get to know each other, relax, and feel comfortable in a new setting . In the context of the induction programme,  ice breaker activities helped students bond with each other and create a fun and interactive atmosphere. Encourage teamwork and camaraderie and get everyone mingling. The programme ended on a high note. The valedictory function was organised . The Dean's appreciation speaks volumes about the team's efforts. It's great to hear that the programme was well-organized and systematic, reflecting the staff's hard work and dedication.  The dean appreciated the students for taking part in different activities in the  programme. The  highlighting  of the key moments and takeaways from the three days helped to reinforce experience and learning. A special thank was given to Mr. Ismail, for capturing the moments.
