Department of Mechanical Engineering was started in the year 1980 with an intake of 60 students and presently it has an intake of 120. The Mechanical Department has been established with excellent infrastructure and well equipped laboratories. The department has well qualified faculties, dedicated and motivated to train and nurture the young students. The department provides support to students in research oriented technical areas including fluid dynamics, manufacturing process, thermal engineering, machine design, material science and other allied topics. The department works with missionary zeal to impart quality education in all branches of Mechanical Engineering. The department also gives emphasis to research and innovation. Research center started in the year 2018
