M.A. in Master of Social Work (M.S.W.)

Programme Overview

Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) is a two years’ post graduate course. Aspiring candidates should complete their B.S.W. (Bachelor of Social Work) or B.A. degree from recognized university under any Arts stream.

The fundamental outlook of a student who shall pursue a programme in Master of Social Work is a dedication to the cause of the human beings or the society at large. The students are thoroughly groomed in terms of mind-set, outlook and of course, knowledge. A stoic, assertive and transparent personality is what makes a complete and efficient social worker.


The course imparts students’ knowledge and training related to the upliftment of the marginalized in areas such as education, sanitation, and their welfare. The MSW course syllabus contains all academic learning related to this main focus.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in any stream from any recognized university with minimum 50% marks in it.
