We are thrilled to share that the Department of Dermatology at KBN University observed World Vitiligo Day on June 27, 2023. This event was organized to raise awareness about vitiligo, its impact, and the advancements in its management. The program featured a presentation by Dr. Humera Ansari, Senior Resident in Department of Dermatology, who discussed various aspects of the disease, its activity, and the latest treatment options available.


The event was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including our Senior CEO Dr. P. S Shankar, Dean Dr. Siddesh, Dean of Research Dr. Rajshree Paladi, HOD Dermatology Dr. Guruprasad, Medical Superintendent Dr. Siddling Chengty and all other HOD's. Their support and encouragement have been instrumental in making this event a grand success.


The program witnessed a fantastic turnout, with enthusiastic participation from our faculty members, postgraduates, and students. Their presence exemplifies their dedication to staying updated with the latest developments in dermatology and their commitment to providing the best care for patients affected by vitiligo.


The event was an interactive session that encouraged active participation from attendees. Following Dr. Humera Ansari's presentation, a question and answer session took place, allowing participants to clarify their doubts and gain valuable insights into vitiligo management.
