SCHOOL HEALTH CAMP AT NEW MODEL URDU MEDIUM SCHOOL

A school health camp was conducted at New Model Urdu Medium School by community medicine department, Faculty of Medical Sciences on 09/01/2024. Specialists from department of Pediatrics, OBG, ENT, Ophthalmology, and Dentistry attended the camp. More than 150 students were screened for different diseases and nutritional deficiencies and referred to KBN hospital for further evaluation and treatment if needed. Health education was also given regarding personal hygiene, hand hygiene, balanced diet, regular physical activity and prevention of common of common diseases, etc. School management have requested to conducted the same camp for their another school, Daffodils English Medium School
