Free Health Camp Under Family Adoption Programme

The Faculty of Medical Sciences, KBN University, recently conducted a community health initiative in Tawergera Village on 29-06-2024,  providing the following services to the patients:

 

1. Free Health Check-ups: A team of doctors from the faculty conducted thorough health check-ups for the patients from Tawergera Village.


2. Provision of Free Medicines: Patients in need were provided with free medicines to ensure they receive the necessary treatment.


3. Health Education: The medical team also delivered health education sessions to raise awareness about various health issues and promote healthy living practices.


4. Screening for Chronic Diseases: The initiative included screenings for hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and refractive errors, enabling early detection and intervention.


5. Breast Cancer Awareness: The team also created awareness about the importance of breast cancer screening, emphasizing the need for regular check-ups and early detection.

 

This community health initiative demonstrates the faculty's commitment to providing quality healthcare services to underserved communities.
