The Faculty of Medical Sciences, Khaja Bandanawaz University organized a Career Counseling and Guidance for Medical Students on 18th November, 2023 for Under-graduate students of KBNU FOMS and other medical graduates.

The event was hosted by Dr Irfan, Post Graduate department of General Medicine, faculty of Medical Sciences, Khaja Bandanawaz University.
The meeting began with Qirat (Invocation) by Talha, 1st year MBBS student.
The event was inaugurated and welcomed by Dr. Mohammed Abdul Baseer HOD Community Medicine, FOMS & Director IQAC KBN University who highlighted the importance of holding Career Counselling and guidance for undergraduate medical students.
The meet was then addressed by Dr Siddesh Sirwar sir, Dean and Principal, KBNU-FOMS.
Dr. Syed Naseer Ahmed, Dean student’s welfare, addressed the gathering and introduced the resource person to the students.
The Vote of thanks of Inaugural function was presented by Dr Saba Nazneen Khan, Professor Department of Biochemistry. FOMS,KBN University
With a record registration of 600 plus the program commenced with the first speaker of the day Dr Thameem Saif MD General Medicine, attached to Bhatia institute of who was introduced by Dr Irfan, post graduate department of General Medicine.
The session continued with the enthusiastic next speaker Dr. Abdul Naseer who was introduced by Dr. Irfan, Post Graduate department of General Medicine.
The audience was later engaged in a Question and Answer session with both the speakers.
Valedictory function
The Valedictory function was then held in the presence of Prof. Ali Raza Moosvi Sir, Hon’ble Vice- Chancellor Khaja Bandanawaz University, Dr. Abdul Baseer HOD Community Medicine, Director IQAC KBN University, Dr. Siddesh Sirwar sir, Dean, KBNU-FOMS,Dr. Shaikh Kamal Mohd Azam, Dean KBNU-FOE,Dr. Syed Nazeer Ahmed sir, Dean Student Welfare, Khaja Bandanawaz University.
The Valedictory function was attended by All the teaching staff of KBN university.
The Valedictory Speech was given by Director IQAC, Dr. M A Baseer.
The felicitation of Prof. Ali Raza Moosvi Sir, Hon’ble Vice- Chancellor Khaja Bandanawaz University, was done by Director IQAC, Dr. M A Baseer.
Felicitation of the speakers Dr. Thameem Saif & Dr. Abdul Nasee was done by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Ali Raza Moosvi Sir.
The staff, students and audience were addressed by Prof. Ali Raza Moosvi Sir, Hon’ble Vice- Chancellor Khaja Bandanawaz University, honourable Vice Chancellor sir mentioned this type of events will make students more competent in future for their post graduate studies, Sir also thanked all the Resource Persons from both the faculty for sparing their time and providing valuable guidance to all the UG students to KBN University.
The day concluded by an elaborative Vote of Thanks by Dr Saba Nazneen Khan, Professor, department of Biochemistry, FOMS, KBNU.
A high-tea session then followed for all the participants.
