Programme Overview

Microbiology is the study of microorganisms, includes bacteria, archaea, viruses, fungi, prions, protozoa and algae. Microbiology has grown rapidly both with regard to fundamental knowledge and its application to medicine, agriculture, and industry. Dozens of biotechnology companies formed to utilize advances provide employment for students with suitable training at master’s level. The successful Postgraduate students with in course training are in high demand in quality control and assurance in a range of product based companies such as food processing, beverages, breweries, cosmetics, diagnostics and so on.

Eligibility

The candidate should have a B.Sc. degree in Microbiology, with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized institute
