Programme Overview
Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is a branch of engineering that deals with the study of computers and computational systems, including both hardware and software. It involves the design, development, and analysis of algorithms, programming languages, software systems, and computer hardware.
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in 1987 and has grown to become one of the most popular engineering branches. CSE courses typically cover data structures, algorithms, operating systems, programming languages, computer architecture, databases, and software engineering.
Specialised areas include Artificial Intelligence, Computer Networks, Database Systems, Computer Architecture, and Software Engineering — preparing graduates for roles across software development, data science, cybersecurity, networking, and hardware design.
