Khaja Banda Nawaz University has introduced BSc, MSc and Ph.D. in Zoology. We have introduced a modern syllabus of zoology which has been reviewed by subject experts from the best Institutes in the Countty. There are seminars and lectures by subject experts from various reputed universities and National Institutions. Students gain subject knowledge and research experience through such interactions. Students also use ICT tools and practical exposures along with the field work, hands on training through field trips to the zoological

hotspots of the country. Projects work are carried out under the mentorship and supervision of highly experienced teaching faculty. The Diversity in the life forms will be understood by students for its socio-economic capital, Students can establish in entrepreneurship, through applied aspects of Zoology.

We have adopted Choice based credit system in PG where students can choose the subjects of their interests from the pool of subjects from life sciences. In addition to this we conduct the students through a series a seminars, paper presentation and test their abilities by various modes of examinations that bring out the abilities of the students usually seen in international universities. Overall the examinations are student friendly and the Faculty works hard to reduce examination stress upon the student.

We aim at developing and retaining sustainable professionals in the field of Zoology. The Department keeps abreast of the latest developments in the field of research and development in Zoology.
